Ameren Illinois first asked for $65.3 million to true up 2025 electric delivery costs against its rate plan. After ICC staff recommended about $31 million, Ameren revised its request to match. CUB testimony said the original proposal had at least $14.8 million in overcharges. A decision is expected by December 2026, and any approved amount would be collected in 2027.
Utility's stated reasons
- actual 2025 delivery costs above the approved revenue requirement
- interest on the under-recovery
