In September 2026 Tampa Electric asked the PSC to lower rates from January 2027, cutting a typical 1,000-kWh residential bill by 1.5%, from $156.43 to $154.13. The company says lower fuel costs more than offset the cost of approved investments in the grid, reliability and growth. The request is pending.
