Under a Texas statute letting utilities recover regional capacity-auction costs through a rider, Entergy Texas set up a new capacity cost recovery rider. In March 2026 Entergy Texas asked the PUCT for a generation cost recovery rider to start charging for its new Orange County Advanced Power Station, collecting about $150.4M a year.
